FlexJobs Releases The Top 100 Companies For Remote Jobs

Date:

While remote work seemed to be just a temporary solution during the pandemic, it has become a permanent solution throughout 2022. From 2021 to 2022, FlexJobs research saw a 20% increase in the number of remote jobs compared with just 12% the previous year.

Through its 10th annual list, FlexJobs identified the Top 100 Companies for Remote Jobs. The ranking shows the top 100 companies that posted the most remote jobs from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022.

According to this report, 97 percent of workers want some form of remote work, with “remote job” defined as a professional-level job that allows the worker to work from home either entirely or part of the time. Employees are clearly looking for flexibility, work-life balance and more control of the location and work environment. For some employees, it is essential to work from home to care for others in their family or better care for their own mental or physical needs. Others look for more privacy, quiet spaces or the possibility of choosing where to live.

In 2022, most of the positions were for experienced-level job (62%), and manager and senior-level roles with 32%. The top 10 remote job titles posted to FlexJobs included:

1. Accountant

2. Executive Assistant

3. Customer Service Representative

4. Senior Financial Analyst

5. Recruiter

6. Project Manager

7. Technical Writer

Remote work seems to have far more benefits than on-site jobs, which is what employees are looking for. Besides, it saves companies and employees money, is environmentally friendly and offers new pools of candidates that were no longer available before, like people with disabilities, caregivers and people from remote locations. The increase in remote jobs looks like a win-win trend for employees and employers that will continue to grow in the future work.
